A $5.75 million first mortgage construction and acquisition loan was provided to complete the redevelopment of Oxford House, a 16-room boutique inn located at 504 South Morris Street in Oxford, Maryland, and acquire a nearby 17-slip marina at 317 South Morris Street.

Originally built in the late 1890s, the inn overlooks Town Creek on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, within walking distance of local dining, beaches, and marinas. The business plan includes redesigned guestrooms, a new two-suite guest cottage, an upgraded restaurant and cocktail bar, and landscaped outdoor gathering areas.

Located less than 400 feet from the inn, the marina includes approximately 160 feet of waterfront along Town Creek. Its acquisition will complement the inn with boat slip rentals, boating access, and planned waterfront event space.
